Physics of Sound
In this course, students will study sound from a scientific and technical perspective. By completing several sound, magnetism and electricity-related projects, students will gain a deeper appreciation for and improve their conceptual understanding of sound and gain some useful construction skills. Class time will be split between learning theory and working on projects. Conceptual understanding will be gained through mini-lessons and self-guided learning (online instruction, textbook readings or internet research). Hands-on learning will be gained by constructing musical instruments and electrical devices.
