Clubs

As part of our mission to broaden our students’ horizons outside the classroom, we offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Beacon strongly encourages all students to participate in some area of extracurricular life, and nearly all do so. The many clubs at Beacon include B’Dat (theatre performance), Beacon Ink (magazine), Moth Club (live story-telling), Dance Makers Collaborative (choreography and performance), Debate Team, Model UN, The Beacon Beat (online newspaper), Art Club, Music/ Band (20 bands!), Photo Club, Math Club, SMAC (Students Mobilized Against Cancer), Students Organizing Students (social justice), Women’s Empowerment (social justice), and Yearbook, among many others. Note: All Beacon clubs are open to ALL students.
