As part of this year's application procedures, we have asked all students to use new Software called NAVIANCE which helps to keep tabs on the application process on the student end and the College Office end. Students were trained on using this software through English Classes in late September. The packet that was given out during that meeting - with step by step instructions on how to perform the basic tasks can be downloaded by clicking HERE. Please make sure you are updating your profile and your list of colleges you are applying to. IF YOU MISSED YOUR TRAINING SESSION AND THE MAKE UP SESSION AND NEED YOUR REGISTRATION NUMBER - Please stop by the College Office. In order to keep some sanity in the process of dropping off Transcript Request Forms and other application materials - The College Office is going to stick to a rigid schedule of when those things can be dropped off. You can CLICK HERE to download the band schedule shaded with the times we will be accepting these materials.
Those times are: Monday, and Friday D, E and H Bands and Thursdays D and E bands.
Please plan accordingly!
The 2006-2007 TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM can be accessed here. Print this form and complete and attach all necessary information and bring to college office for processing. Please remember to allow THREE WEEKS for processing. You will need a new form for each school with the exception of CUNY and SUNY. You can include all CUNY schools on a single form and all SUNY schools on a single form. Please see the Application Processing Procedures for more details. Copies can also be picked up in the College Office.

The last page has a signature form that must be signed by student and parent/guardian before the college office can send out any materials on your behalf. If you do not follow procedures correctly it will delay your application processing requests. Please come to the college office with any questions (but only AFTER you have thoroughly read these instructions).

Parents and Guardians of Beacon Seniors - Don't forget to MARK YOUR CALENDARS - Thursday, November 2nd the College Office will be hosting a Financial Aid Night. Special Guest Heather McDonnell, Director of Financial Aid at Sarah Lawrence College - will be speaking about all areas of the Financial Aid Process. She is a dynamic speaker and you won't want to miss this meeting. The program will be from 6:00-7:30pm and will be held in the auditorium at PS 191 across the street from Beacon. We hope to see you all there.
