City Wide College Information Sessions for Students of Color

The NYC Department of Education is hosting an information session to expand higher education opportunities for students of color. The program will include information on the Gates Millennium Scholars Program as well as application procedures, financial aid, scholarships and public and private funding opportunities.

What I Need to Know Now About College Night

Attention FRESHMAN and SOPHOMORE students and parents.

On Tuesday Night May 18at 6pm Beacon will be hosting a "What I Need to Know Now About College Night." There will be expert speakers discussing important topics including the changes to the SAT exam. This will be the first of several meetings of this nature, so if you can't make it to this one, there will be another early next year. PLEASE NOTE - DUE TO SPACE LIMITATIONS - SEATING WILL ONLY BE GUARANTEED FOR THOSE WHO RSVP. Please RSVP to Stephanie Binder, College Counselor at sbinder@beaconschool.org. Please let me know the name of the Beacon student and the number of people in the family who will attend. YOU MUST RSVP BY Wednesday May 12th to secure a spot.
