The NYC Department of Education is hosting an information session to expand higher education opportunities for students of color. The program will include information on the Gates Millennium Scholars Program as well as application procedures, financial aid, scholarships and public and private funding opportunities.

On Tuesday Night May 18at 6pm Beacon will be hosting a "What I Need to Know Now About College Night." There will be expert speakers discussing important topics including the changes to the SAT exam. This will be the first of several meetings of this nature, so if you can't make it to this one, there will be another early next year.
