HANNIBAl by director Ridley Scott. This movie is based on the novel by Thomas Harris, and the series of books featuring the serial killer Hannibal Lecter.Without giving away too much of the plot, this film follows the plot of the book which finds Hannibal Lecter being stalked by one of his victims, Mason Verger (who, obviously, didn't die in the first movie or book The Silence of The Lambs), and Clarice, who ends up trying to protect him. There's more to it than that, but to give away more would be to give away too much. If you really want to know the rest... read the book and then go see the movie....or just watch the movie! This movie although very gruesome will really have you at the edge of your seat wanting to see more. The stellar cast consists of Anthony Hopkins (Dr. Hannibal Lecter), Julianne Moore (FBI Agent Clarice Starling), Gary Oldman (Mason Verger) (uncredited), Giancarlo Giannini (Inspector Rinaldo Pazzi), Ray Liotta (FBI Agent Paul Krendler), Diane Baker (Senator Ruth Martin), Ennio Coltorti (Ricci), Frankie R. Faison, Boyd Kestner (Agent Mendez), Ivano Marescotti, Francesca Neri (Mrs. Pazzi), Robert Rieti (Sogliato). It took me awhile before the movie actually came out to go see it but i finally did and boy was i scared and boy did i love it. Hey, what can i say spilling guts turn me on. haha j/k. No but really if your looking for a movie that will have you on edge and that will scare the SH*T out of you and some friends...Hannibal is the way to go!!~!
