The Beacon tennis team has sought to build a competitive team atmosphere with excellent student-athletes. Beacon play in the Public School Athletic League (PSAL) in the Manhattan-Bronx A Division.

2009
Beacon was 11-0 in its division. Beacon won three major tournaments: the Public School Athletic League (PSAL) (NYC public schools), the Mayor’s Cup (all NYC schools), and New England/ Mid-Atlantic Tennis Tournament (NEMA) (East coast schools).

Beacon was 12-0 in it division. Beacon won two major tournaments: the Public School Athletic League (PSAL) (NYC public schools) and New England/ Mid-Atlantic Tennis Tournament (NEMA) (East coast schools). Beacon lost in the finals of the Mayor’s Cup to Horace Mann, 3-2.

Beacon was 9-1 in its division. Beacon lost in the finals of the PSAL to Cardozo, 3-2 and made it to the semifinals of the Mayor’s Cup.
