Employees from Morgan Stanley will edit your Resume or College Essay for FREE
The YMCA of Greater New York in partnership with Morgan Stanley is
helping teens get their college essay, cover letter or resume ready for
the next step. Making sure that your resume or essay sounds right and
conveys your real strengths is key. But many young people make the key
mistake of not having anyone edit and review these key documents before
sending them out. To get this kind of help simply email your resume,
cover letter or personal essay to the address listed below and during
the month of June it will be reviewed by professional staff at Morgan
Stanley. They will suggest edits, additions and changes that will make
sure that you do stand out! To participate, simply:
- Send your resume, cover letter or personal essay to mforth@ymcanyc.org
- We do not know how many responses we will get but the sooner you send
it in the sooner you will get it returned to you.
- Make sure the file is a Word document.
We are hoping to have Morgan Stanley staff review over 300 pieces during
June, so send them individually or in groups.
You are invited to share this offer with non-YMCA teenagers in your
schools or with your friends.

Ivy Insiders Test Prep
Ivy Insiders is the world's first test prep program developed and taught
by Ivy League graduates and undergraduates. Since 2005, Ivy Insiders has
delivered unmatched score improvements, with an average improvement of
264 points on the SAT. Ivy Insiders offers SAT tutoring and classroom
courses that guarantee higher score improvements than both Kaplan and
Princeton Review, and at a lower price.
By utilizing the knowledge of college graduates and undergraduates who
have themselves beaten the test-- as all Ivy Insiders instructors placed
in the 99th percentile with their SAT scores--Ivy Insiders provides
students with effective test taking strategies.
This summer, Dalia Terry (Yale '12) is Manhattan's Ivy Insiders
instructor. She will be available for private tutoring and will be
